Writing: Father’s Day Acrostic Poem

In an acrostic poem, the first letter in each line forms a word. For example:
Cute and cuddly
Always playing
Tabby kitten

Have your child make an acrostic poem for Father’s Day by following these steps:

1.Spell out “FATHER” vertically on a colorful sheet of paper.
2.For each letter, write a descriptive word or phrase about your father
3.Decorate around the poem using crayons or markers.
